Page Gonzales is Supervisor Steve Chucri's chief of staff at Maricopa County. She is responsible for the overall direction and management of District 2 operations. Her role collaborates with the county manager and departments to implement the strategic goals and priorities of Maricopa County. Ms. Gonzales formerly served as Arizona Governor Jan Brewer's deputy chief of staff and policy director where she provided a lead role in the development and implementation of policy initiatives. She also served the Governor as her local government and transportation policy advisor.
Her career in public service includes tenure as the director of state relations for the Maricopa Community Colleges where she coordinated legislation and represented the Colleges in national higher education associations, community organizations and legislative committees. She has served as legislative officer for the Administrative Office of the Courts, Arizona Supreme Court, organizing legislative priorities and acting as liaison between the Courts and the Legislature. Ms. Gonzales also represented Maricopa County as a legislative liaison.
She began her time in public service 20 years ago at the Arizona House of Representatives as an assistant research analyst. Ms. Gonzales was born and raised in Arizona. She received her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, and graduated with her Master's in Public Administration, also from Arizona State University.
