Biography
Karyn Lathan is the Constable in the University Lakes Justice Precinct, which includes the east half of the city of Tempe.
Karyn spent over 25 years in law enforcement and corrections as a Police Officer, Correctional Officer, Probation and Parole Officer, and Restorative Justice Coordinator for Arizona Department of Corrections. She is an Air Force veteran, with service as a law enforcement officer in both South Korea and stateside. Karyn has been a certified victim advocate for 14 years and was the founding Chair of the Tempe Family Justice Commission. Karyn holds a Baccalaureate in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix.
