SCHOOLS:
Gov. Ducey and Superintendent Kathy Hoffman have announced all schools in Arizona closed through March 27th. View the announcement. This does not include child care centers.
MASS GATHERINGS:
Based on CDC’s new interim guidance for mass gatherings, released on March 15, Maricopa County Department of Public Health is recommending the cancellation of non-essential large gatherings of more than 50 people for the next 8 weeks.
This recommendation does not apply to the day to day operation of organizations such as businesses.
Individuals older than 60 years and those with chronic medical conditions should not attend gatherings of more than 10 people due to their high risk of severe COVID-19 disease.
