Maricopa County received $399 million from the U.S. Treasury as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).
These funds were successfully disbursed toward efforts to combat the pandemic; providing the capacity for more case investigations, contact tracing, testing services, personal protective equipment, and emergency preparedness and response. In addition these funds helped those experiencing business closures, job loss and homelessness through a number of services and assistance programs.
Now that the CARES funds have been fully disbursed, the County is using American rescue funds to provide residents with a brighter future. See how these funds are being disbursed to bring services and stability to underserved populations, individuals, families, and businesses impacted by the pandemic.
