Medical/Prescription/Behavioral Health

Four plan options are available. Each plan includes free preventive care (in-network only) and is bundled with a prescription and behavioral health benefit. The Cigna HMO Plan requires you to use a Cigna Medical Group (CMG) provider in Maricopa County.

  • Ten days a year for the first three years
  • Progressive to just over 14-1/2 days a year for six years and over

  • Covered by a state-sponsored retirement plan through Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) or Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS)
  • A Smart Savings Plan allows you to set aside money from your paycheck (pre-tax or post tax) toward retirement savings
  • A Post-Employment Health Plan (PEHP) provides a $10,000 contribution to a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) at retirement when you have accumulated 1,000 hours of sick leave
