Working Together, Saving Lives

Animal Care and Control Improvements

This is our mission.  Here are the next steps.

Over the past few years, Maricopa County Animal & Control has made measurable progress in its overarching mission to save lives.  Now, we are moving into the next phase of our long-term plan to find permanent homes for more animals.  Currently, MCACC operates two shelters.  We are now planning to consolidate all shelter services into a renovated and expanded central location, with the goal of increasing the quality of care we provide, reducing the length of stay for animals, and improving the experience for customers who want to adopt.  We invite you to look through the information below to learn more about the next step in Working Together and Saving Lives!
