Thank you for thinking of us. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control happily accepts monetary and specific in‑kind donations (review details below). All donations go directly to the care of our shelter pets.
Donations are accepted at the West Shelter, through the mail or online. If you have any questions about donations, please contact Leanne Cardwell at 602-372-4497. Donations made to your community shelter are tax-deductible as long as they are given for public purposes and not used for the payment of licenses or fees.
If you would like to donate through the mail, please make your check payable to Maricopa County Animal Care & Control and send your donation to our West Shelter location:
Maricopa County Animal Care & Control 2500 S. 27th Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85009
The care of our homeless animals is made possible only through community support. Please note that we cannot accept used items.
For the health and safety of our shelter pets, we are no longer accepting donated canned and dry dog and cat food. We cannot accept any medications or medical materials. Please see our rescue partner list that will accept used items and food. Also PACC 911 Chuck Waggin accepts food and opened food.
Donations for Distemper - updated July 4, 2021 Edible enrichment items that are easy to pass through the kennels, such as bully sticks and pork chomps, and durable toys from our wish list (dogs are temporarily remaining inside their kennels for longer periods than usual, in an effort to prevent possible spread of disease, and these items help keep them as occupied, mentally-stimulated, and happy as possible.) Your community shelters rely on the generosity of everyone to ensure the health and happiness of Maricopa County’s homeless animals. Please visit our Amazon Wish List to see how you can directly impact our work at our facilities.
