A corridor project involves the design and construction of roadway improvements along multiple segments of an arterial roadway. These roadway improvements could include widening, signal installation or upgrade, safety improvements or drainage improvements. Corridor projects are typically designed and constructed in phases over a period of time.
MCDOT has developed a Pavement Management Program to direct its pavement preservation process and establish a standardized pavement preservation plan for county roadways.
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) contains planned roadway system improvements for new or improved roadways, bridges, drainage structures, intersection improvements, Intelligent Transportation Systems and more.
